Jason and I are both unemployed and enjoy nature so we decided to head out to Index, WA to hike Lake Serene & Bridal Veil Falls. I have done this hike in the past but only in the summer time. We ended up doing quite a bit of snow travel, which Gray (Jason's dog) didn't like too much. All in all it was a good hike but I was bummed that the lake was still covered in snow...nothing like a pristine alpine lake!
