Bolivia Reflection

I wanted to do a little mini-reflection on Bolivia:

1) Most of the women wear very traditional Bolivia clothing. This includes a fluffy colored skirt, sweater, a bowler cap, flats for shoes, and they carry everything in a cloth around their shoulders that hangs over their back. This may contain a child, good to be sold at market, etc.

2) The men plow and plant the fields and the women do the harvesting.

3) It appears that almost all children go to school and many of these schools have uniforms for
the children to wear.

4) The streets are generally made out of cobblestone of some form and there is animal poop on the street in most towns because donkeys and mules are the main form of transportation of
goods. The majority of cars are taxis and buses so that is the main transportation mode for the average Bolivian.

5) Bolivians biggest meal is lunch. Breakfast usually consists of a little bread and tea. They typically eat empanadas off the street or other snacks during the day until it is time for lunch. Many lunches are fixed meals where you pay a small amount and you get 3 courses that are already selected by the chef/restaurant.

6) Hardly anyone speaks English so if you plan to come to Bolivia, make sure you study up on your Spanish!!
