Seattle's soccer team recently joined the professional soccer league. The owner is none other than Drew Carey, the actor/comedian. I was pretty surprised by that but clearly I have not been following the news surrounding this team getting started. However, I did hear that they sold over 22,000 season tickets, which is really a big win for the team. They even have a band!
Today was the Seattle Sounders FC's inaugural game and I was lucky enough to have a ticket. My friend Matt has season tickets and he took Emily and I to the game with him! We had such a blast and the Sounders beat the New York Red Bull 3-0! What a way to start the season!!
