The last few days of the trip I spent my time at our family cabin in Blue Ridge, Georgia. There is something nice about sitting outside on the porch with family and friends in 70 degree weather in December! I couldn't believe how warm it was or how nice the weather was. Thank you global warming (though I don't think this is good long term of course)!
Less the one small bit of family drama, we had a great time. I miss my family already but it was time to return to the snow covered mountains of Washington! I love Seattle and know that it is my home now. Maybe one day I can convince my family to move west....
